It’s expected to become the world’s largest Supercharger station.

    Tesla

    Key Takeaways

    • Florida to host Tesla’s largest Supercharger station, with over 200 stalls
    • Possibility of V4 stalls is unclear, but the station will open in three phases
    • Florida location falls short of Shell Recharge Shenzhen Airport EV Station’s 258 stalls

Site plans for a new Tesla Supercharger station – now open to Rivian and Ford EV owners – have revealed that the automaker is planning to build its biggest yet, and it will be located in Florida.

According to the site plans, brought to light by X user MarcoRP, the Supercharger site will have over 200 stalls. The preliminary plan shows 160 supercharging stalls and 40 standalone stalls, with eight pull-through stalls for trailers. It will be located at 3010 State Rd. 60, near the junction with I-95 and off Florida Turnpike’s exit 193.

Is It Going To Be V3 or V4?

The unearthed plans show that GPD Group Inc. will manage the project’s construction. Marco also shared with Teslarati that the construction will be progressive, with stalls opening partially in a three-phase manner. Tesla Model 3 and other EV owners in the area should be delighted with this news.

The plans are preliminary for now, but among the questions raised is whether the Superchargers will have V3 stalls or the more updated V4. The answer’s unclear, but note that V4 Superchargers with Magic Dock and credit card reader have already been spotted in the US.

    World’s Largest Supercharger Station

With 200 stalls planned, the supposed Florida location will certainly become the world’s largest Supercharger station. However, it’s currently not the largest – that distinction belongs to the Shell Recharge Shenzhen Airport EV Station, which has 258 stalls.

Apart from the Florida Turnpike Supercharger station, a Supercharger diner and drive-in movie is currently under construction in California. Plans for a 164-stall Supercharger station in California were also reportedly filed in February.
