Luckily the American company Backdraft Racing is building a complete replica, equipped with completely modern technology and a powerful engine under the hood.
Today we have this gorgeous metallic garnet red 2017 Backdraft Racing Shelby Cobra 427 roadster replica with Shelby white racing stripes along the body. The beautiful exterior is equipped with excellent shiny chrome and powerful side exhaust pipes below the doors. The interior is upholstered in gorgeous diamond stitching high-quality leather, equipped with simple analog sports gauges, comfortable bucket seats, and an aluminum steering wheel with wood inserts.
As we have mentioned earlier, under the hood it is powered by a naturally aspirated Ford-based Roush Racing 427 cubic-inch or 7.0-liter V8 engine. This engine-equipped Fi-Tech electronic fuel system and MSD ignition system produces 576 horsepower and 550 lb.-ft of torque. The engine is connected to a TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission system which spins the 18-inch knock-off Shelby wheels equipped with Nitto NT555 G2 tires. This beast is secured with Disk brakes on all wheels.
