We’ve yet to meet a Lexus interior we don’t like, and nothing changes on the RZ. The materials are excellent, and you have to go looking for the cheaper stuff holding things together. The seats are comfortable over long distances, although you’ll want a maximum of four occupants unless you’re dropping the fifth off around the corner. The two rear passengers will be happy with legroom, and a couple of six-footers have room to stretch out a bit. Our Luxury trim model came with Ultrasuede upholstery replacing the NuLuxe imitation leather on the Premium trim, and Tsuyasumi interior trim.
Infotainment is delivered through a big and bright 14-inch touchscreen; however, it’s a lot of work to swipe around, and Lexus should be thinking about implementing a split-screen system. It is loaded with everything anyone could need, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, five USB-C ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless charging for phones, and navigation from Google. The top-end Luxury comes with a glorious 13-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, which is the icing on the cake.
