HEMI owners rejoice! Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) is now doing more than just performance parts for GM engines; the Kentucky-based company has opened its doors to late-model HEMI owners. And if your Gen-III HEMI needs a kick in the power department, BTR has you covered with a barrage of new dyno-proven camshafts and kits.

Truck Norris Cam For The HEMI

More than just a name, the Truck Norris Camshaft is a legacy. The BTR Truck Norris camshaft was designed to elevate the performance of your engine, whether you’re off-roading in a Ram truck or tearing up the track in a Charger or Challenger. Paired with recommended components, it creates a symphony of power echoing the unmistakable roar of Truck Norris.

Expect significant power increases with the Truck Norris camshaft – approaching 490 horsepower at the crank of your 5.7-liter HEMI. This grind extends the usable operating range by 1,500 rpm while maintaining drivability. Dyno tests show gains over the factory cam throughout the RPM range, with a notable increase of 71 horsepower and 62 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm and stout performance up to 7,000 rpm.

    More BTR GEN-III HEMI Camshafts

If the Truck Norris cam doesn’t tickle your fancy, BTR has even more HEMI camshafts in its arsenal. You can choose from the Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, or Stage 4 camshafts.

Each BTR camshaft is precision-crafted in-house and meticulously designed for optimal performance and stability. Rigorous Spintron and dyno testing confirm its exceptional performance and durability, making it the top choice for enthusiasts seeking noticeable upgrades. The Stage 1 -4 Camshafts will also remove a Gen-III HEMI’s Multiple-Displacment System (MDS) while adding more power.

    Stage 1

With power increases and nearly stock-driving characteristics, this camshaft is compatible with stock converters and is a popular choice among enthusiasts. You can anticipate over 480 horsepower at the crank of your 5.7-liter HEMI with the Stage 1 camshaft.

This grind extends the usable operating range by an extra 1,000 rpm while ensuring drivability. There are notable improvements over the factory camshaft throughout the RPM range, starting from 2,000 rpm. Specifically, at 6,000 rpm, 65 horsepower and 58 lb-ft of torque was gained. The Stage 1 camshaft maintains strong performance up to 6,500 rpm.

    Stage 2

The Stage 2 camshaft offers substantial power gains over the stock camshaft while retaining near-factory driving qualities. This camshaft is well-suited for use with stock converters as well.

Expect over 490 horsepower at the crank of a 5.7-liter HEMI engine with the Stage 2 camshaft. This grind expands the usable operating range by an extra 1,200 rpm with performance improvements above 2,300 rpm, with a peak increase of 71 horsepower and 62 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm. However, the Stage 2 camshaft also maintains robust performance beyond 6,700 rpm.

    Stage 3

If you’re looking for 500-plus horsepower out of your Gen-III HEMI, then BTR’s Stage 3 camshaft is your ticket to tire-smoking performance. This camshaft builds off the Stage 2 camshaft but offers more performance and more chop for those looking for a more aggressive exhaust note.

You can expect over 500 horsepower at the crank of your 5.7-liter HEMI engine with BTR’s Stage 3 camshaft. This camshaft profile extends the usable operating range by an additional 1,600 rpm while ensuring drivability, especially when paired with an aftermarket torque converter. The Stage 3 camshaft makes significant gains over the factory cam starting at 3,000 rpm, with a peak gain of 82 horsepower and 71 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm. The Stage 3 camshaft maintains strong performance even beyond 7,000 rpm.

    Stage 4

For those looking for all the chop and performance for their Gen-III HEMI, there is the BTR Stage 4 camshaft. With an operating range of 2,300 to 7,400 rpm, this camshaft will get people’s attention due to its aggressive sound and performance.

The Stage 4 camshaft offers a potent boost to 5.7-liter HEMI engines, delivering over 510 horsepower at the crankshaft. With an extra 1,900 rpm of usable operating range, it maintains drivability when paired with an aftermarket torque converter. Dyno testing shows noticeable gains starting at 3,800 rpm, peaking at 83 horsepower, and 72 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm. Its robust performance extends beyond 7,100 rpm, making it ideal for high-performance applications.
