The exterior of the Audi Q7 has received some changes for the new model year, giving it an even more confident demeanor than the pre-facelift one. This starts with the Audi Singleframe grille with an octagon design and vertical inlays with a teardrop shape. An L shape for these inlays can be seen in models with the S line exterior.
The overall front-end architecture is also influenced by the higher position of the headlights. These have HD Matrix LED technology with lasers as an extra beam light. There are also digital daytime running lights on the upper horizontal edge; using the MMI interface inside the vehicle, customers can choose from one of four unique lighting signatures. We’ll have to wait and see if these lights are standard on US-spec Q7s; on the 2024 model, laser light tech is only available on the fully loaded Q7 Prestige. New color-framed air intakes have also been incorporated into the SUV’s front fascia.
At the back, the Q7 can be specified with digital OLED rear lights for the first time. These have a proximity indication function that can automatically activate all the OLED segments if other road users get too close to a stationary Q7. The lighting signature of the OLEDs can also be changed via the infotainment interface.
Colors for the facelifted Audi Q7 include three new metallics, those being Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red. We’ve seen the striking Sakhir Gold in person on the new SQ8, and it works well with a black-accented exterior. Various new wheel sizes measure up to 22 inches and include black metallic and Gray Silk Matte finishes.
