This Hemi Superbird has been professionally restored and represents one of 135 ever produced and is number 1,723 of the 1970 NASCAR wing car homologation programs. The exterior is painted in gorgeous EV2 Tor Red color, with the black vinyl top original aero nose, original rear wing, and J45 hood pins on the hood.
Gorgeous looking from the outside, powerful under the hood, and quiet and comfortable from the inside. The interior has black vinyl, bench front seats with silver accents, and chromed details.
The dashboard has a tachometer, AM radio, automatic column shifter, and 3-spoke steering wheel with the Road Runner center cap. This particular does not have an AC unit.
This 1970 Plymouth HEMI Superbird is powered by its original numbers matching 426 cubic-inch, 7.0-liter big-block V8 engine, factory rated at 425 horsepower and 425 lb.-ft. of torque. It is mated to a TorqueFlite 727 automatic transmission and a Chrysler 8 ¾-inch with a 3.55 ratio sure grip axle.
In addition, is equipped with power steering, power brakes with front discs, and 15-inch Rallye wheels with Goodyear Polyglas raised white-letter tires.
