On YouTube, we came across this stunning Roush-powered 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator Pro Touring Restomod, which literally blew our minds with the way It looks and the performance that it got. But first, let’s look at the exterior of this legendary machine.

The body is painted in a gorgeous grabber blue color which enhances the black stripes, hood scope, and black front grille including the awesome headlamp black covers. The only thing that differentiates the blue and black body combination is the chrome trim and bumpers, however, they give a perfect balance to the overall external experience.

The interior of this 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator Pro Touring Restomod got a complete makeover. It was built from scratch by the world-famous custom interior builder TMI. Therefore, it is equipped with a high-quality black leather interior, with comfortable suede and leather bucket seats featuring many gadgets and equipment.

Speaking of the equipment inside, we got full Dakota Digital gauges, a Vintage Air AC unit, a powerful Alpine stereo system, and power windows. This is probably the best interior in a restomod muscle car we have seen by far.

The engine is attached to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission system which spins a Ford 9-inch rear-end. Underneath it is equipped with custom suspension which includes tubular upper and lower control arms, Ridetech adjustable coilovers, a 4-link rear axle, and much more.

For safety measures, this legendary muscle car is equipped with a Wilwood braking system which includes slotted rotors and six-piston calipers up front and drilled rotors and four-piston calipers at the back wheels. In the end, our conclusion on this ‘70 Cougar, it is powerful, well-equipped, and professionally executed bodywork and paint. Worth every penny. Enjoy the video!
