As part of the agreement, the RPlate will be offered in more than 300 Ford dealerships in California, Arizona, and Michigan. The RPlate will be assigned a Ford part number and sold directly from the dealer, which means it can be loaded to the price of the vehicle.
As such, we should see more cars like the Ford Mustang Mach-E and F-150 roll out with these digital plates. But only if an owner is willing to dish out $599 for a battery-powered plate, with the wired version priced at $749. Revival also offers service plans worth $8/month or $75/month for battery-powered plates and $10/month or $95/year for wired plates.
These prices come from Reviver’s website, and the pricing might be slightly cheaper if you opt-in via Ford. That remains to be seen, however.
