The difference between the old and new Kia Sorento Hybrid interior is significant, although most of the changes pertain to the dashboard layout and design. A horizontal theme sets the tone for the interior of the Kia Sorento Hybrid, with the air vents and controls laid out in long, slim panels, which makes it feel more spacious and uncluttered inside; before, the vents and blocky dash design felt a little disorganized where there is a more harmonious design for 2025.
The Kia EV9 set the scene in terms of next-gen tech with the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit, which has an advanced processing system with Quick Controls and over-the-air updates – this is now available to the 2025 Sorento Hybrid. As standard, a 4.3-inch TFT display and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen house all the vehicle’s functions and multimedia, but there is an available panoramic curved display comprising two 12.3-inch screens, which adds to the sense of modernity in the cabin. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard across the range, and the safety suite is as advanced as ever with ten standard ADAS features like upgraded forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian and cyclist detection and intersection assist. Buyers can also have their Sorento Hybrids with a digital camera mirror and surround-view monitoring.
The Kia Sorento Hybrid still seats up to six across three rows, and although we haven’t been told if there are any changes to materials, we know the Kia Sorento gets new interior colors with a Dust Blue scheme added, specific to the hybrid models. We don’t expect there to be any change to cargo space in the new Kia Sorento Hybrid lineup, with trunk volume ranging from 12.6 cubic feet to 75.5 cubes across the range.
