    1968 Ford Torino 427 Restomod Original

    So far, we have made a review on some of the most famous classic American muscle cars. However, most of those muscle cars were, as we call them the mainstream of the American classics such as Chevy Chevelle or Dodge Charger.

    However today we have something different, a badass 1968 Ford Torino 427 restomod. At this classic Ford lots of this have been changed, therefore there is an enormous difference from what has been in the past to what has become lately.

    1968 Ford Torino 427 Restomod Back

    First, the exterior has been left original without major changes to the body. However, it got a complete makeover with gorgeous deep cherry red body color, shiny trim, and black details such as side stripes and hood air scoop. In addition, also has been lowered.

    The interior on the other hand remains as original as possible. The beautiful vinyl black front and rear seats and the door panels are original to the car. The interior has been affected only by minor updates such as the steering wheel, gauges, and an LCD display media center.

    1968 Ford Torino 427 Restomod Interior

    This 1968 Ford Torino 427 restomod is powered by a naturally aspirated Ford 351 cubic inch Windsor V8 as a base, which has been stroker and bored up to 427 cubic-inch and produces 560 horsepower and 540 lb.-ft. Of torque. The engine is attached by a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission which transfers the torque at the rear wheels.

    Underneath it is equipped with a Ridetech air suspension and custom front and rear sway bars. The awesome stance is made possible with the 18-inch front and 20-inch rear tree piece black rims wrapped with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires and all secured with Wilwood four-piston calipers and discs.

    This 1968 Ford Torino 427 restomod is one of those classic American muscle cars that draw attention wherever they appear. Enjoy the video below.
